The PNP>Rapunzel intro was a fantastic little change.

Good thing I listened to it yesterday then. Is everything going back to normal tomorrow?

Yeah. Almost took the files to work with me but figured I'd be able to do the stream. Oh well, tomorrow it is.

MSG '00 is the Cortez as far as I'm concerned.

Yea, I think it may top Central Park imo...although that version is great as well.

The show is great from top to bottom but that run of songs with Warren to close the set is top tier, not to be missed DMB.

Opening run of songs is awesome, and then it's taken to the next level with Warren.

I think my favorite part of this show is Exodus, not Cortez. But either way, those two covers makes the show.

And a little jam before PNP > Rapunzel is real awesome. One of the best Rapunzels out there.

Man listening to the AUD of this over dmbstream doesn't do this justice. Should have brought the matrix to work with me.

that matrix was very well done. It's on my external hard drive, which I don't have on me at the moment, so I had to listen to it on Tuesday on dmbstream as well

Yeah I was dogging it earlier in the thread but the matrix beats what I was just listening to.

My first show...I don't remember much of it, but I had a great time. I knew way more Neil Young then DMB at the time, so I remember Cortez being the highlight.

Truth be told, I had a much better time at my second show in 02, but that's probably because I was more familiar with the catalog.

This show has such a great setlist. Aside from the Warren Haynes appearance it's just the original 5. They manage to bring it on every song here. Great opening run. The Recently is pretty unique, no jam but it's stacked with intros. The LWS songs fit right into the set in their spots perfectly. The second half of this show is just stacked with a great Lover and SMTS >> Bridge >> Too Much before the epic Warren Haynes appearance. And I love the Rapunzel with the "skip jam" intro, very fun.

Just a great show from top to bottom, a personal favorite. I think 12/3/98 is the only MSG show that tops this one.
