I am looking to upgrade to "Leopard." I can get a single download for $110 and a 5-pack for $180. Would anyone be interested in splitting the 5-pack with me? I am trying to get a few people in this. PM me.

I am pretty sure they are. A one download disc costs about $110. A 5-pack is $180 and will come with five different serial #s, etc.

EDIT - installed leopard on my friends macbook (erase and install) sunday
installed it from the same disc today on my iMac (upgrade)

They seem to be protected. What I did was rip the video to AVI and then used iMovie to dub the CD release over it. Took awhile, but I also added chapter so I could skip tracks when watching on the ipod. Works well.

i think i might have a virus or something, my computer has been running very slow (compared to usual) the past couple days

anyone ever run into viruses on their macs?

this is my 3rd mac, and i've never had this problem before

-----

or maybe not, seems to be running well right now after i restarted (i usually leave my computer on all the time, i know that's not the best) although when editing in iTunes, it is taking a little longer than usual

Run Disk Utility and repair your disk permissions. That usually helps. If not, take it to one of the stores...

Anyone here of Apple's possible new computer concept that is basically just a huge iPhone-like screen?

Thumbs up

Greetings all. I'm a new mac convert. Had ipod/iphone for a few months and have recently purchased an imac. It rocks, and I will never go back to windows. Just wanted to say hello.
...and anything crucial I should know as a new member of the clan, please let me know!!
