Despite how overplayed all these are, this is a pretty sweet start, better than I'd expect. Dave needs to get over Samurai Cop though, insane how much it's been shoved down our throats. Hoping this year is the last year where it gets heavy play.

Dave says the same shit now at shows when he talks about songs. It's almost starting to sound rehearsed. I mean, I get it, but still.

I like it too and get that its the single, i sure as shit would rather hear it over a lot of other songs plus its whatever they consider a single at this point in their career. Was just giving you shit for thinking that they wont try to slip that in all three nights

His voice sounds a lot better today, must have been the upstate NY air messing with him last night.

Have they done that before, same song all three nights? I know Grey Street was played 2 out of 3 nights in 2002.

Hasn't happened often---they did play Stay all 3 nights back at Meadows on 8/6,8/7 and 8/8 1999.

Back in the early '00s when they had much less songs to choose from, it was much understandable but it's pretty unbelievable that they still end up repeating stuff when they are known to not repeat on multi-night stands and can EASILY do so. It just really shows laziness and lack of effort in the setlist writing. I don't get why Stefan or someone else can't just say, "we played that one already this weekend, let's replace it with something else". It's not difficult. It's part of what makes bands like Phish and Dead and Co these days much more appealing to see on a 2-3 night stand.

apparently a lot of celebrities said the same thing thing when Trump got elected, and not a single one of them stuck by that.

Clearly they just don't get bored of playing the same songs a lot. I know I would, but if they're enjoying playing these songs almost every night, then I guess so be it. I mean it is an "album" tour, so I really don't have a problem with a lot of CT songs being in the sets, it's common and expected. Just sucks that Samurai was being played A LOT for like 2 years before it was even released.

Well, I guess it's not as bad as when U2 was playing Vertigo twice a show.
