I went to the show Sunday night at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, and it was another amazing performance by them. I'd put their live shows up there with just about any band.

Setlist

Sigh No More
Roll Away Your Stone
Winter Winds
Below My Feet
White Blank Page
Timshel
Sister
Little Lion Man
Lover of the Light
Thistle and Weeds
After the Storm
Lover's Eyes
Awake my Soul
Dust Bowl Dance
----------------
Home (new original song)
The Cave

A couple of notes on the show...

-The new songs are progressing very nicely and you can tell they're much more comfortable with them in a live setting now.

-Marcus said the new song on the encore was something they've only been working on in the soundchecks and doesn't have finished lyrics or a name yet

-Timshel and Sister were played "unplugged." The band had the whole theatre dead silent while they came to the front of the stage together singing and playing their instruments. I gotta give the crowd credit, they respected what they were trying to do and stayed nearly silent for the two songs, even more impressive when you consider there were 5000 people.

- Sister replaced Hopeless Wanderer on the setlist.

I also recorded the show, my first ever attempt at recording. I don't have fancy mics, pre-amps or anything like that, basically just used a digital recorder and the internal mics. For using the low-tech method the recording didn't come out all that bad. I'm sure someone with more technical know how and experience can clean it up if they wanted, but I'm happy being able to listen the show I was at anytime I want.

Here's the mp3's of the show if you want to check them out.

Enjoy!

Cool. I almost went up for that show, but ended up not going. Now I'm wishing I did. Thanks for the review and the recording.

I've got the setlist from the show, and the song is listed as "Home," but with Marcus saying it didn't have a title I just figured that the Home listed on the setlist was the E.Sharpe song.

I guess with Home being a main part of the lyrics it makes sense.

I hope it isn't long before the whole release is out. I've been waiting for something to come of those shows since they were announced and I couldn't go.

They're making the RRT annual, just unsure if it's mumford.

Here's This Train: [Only registered users can see links.]

Should be ok to post since it's not available for purchase anywhere!

I actually have the entire new orleans set that was broadcast on sirius/xm. I can upload that later.

I'm assuming the webcast he's talking about is bonnaroo
