yes it's done for the year, or until this fall basically. no the finale wasn't A Very Sunny Christmas.

Well, yeah, it was Dee having the baby. But what I was saying was the last episode A Very Sunny Christmas (I realize it wasn't a new ep). And apparently it was.

Glenn Howerton said there was an episode that didn't air. If you watch one of the trailers you see them blow up this thing called a meat bomb. That was that episode. I wonder if they will put it on the dvd or just show it next season.

Couple of details about some episodes of the 7th season of Always Sunny

Quote:
The seventh season of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' premieres in September, and will remain in its Thursday at 10PM time slot. New episodes of 'Archer' will follow 'Sunny' for three weeks, then the third season of 'The League' will take over the 10:30PM spot.

As for what we can expect to see the Paddy's Pub gang up to in the new season, 'Sunny' star [Only registered users can see links.] says the episode he's most looking forward to is one that will revolve around Frank ([Only registered users can see links.] ) and his long-running feud with his brother. Turns out the Reynolds siblings had a falling out because they were in love with the same woman.

"It's great. We're going to have flashbacks to the '60s, and we're going a little higher budget on those sequences, so it's going to be really funny, really cool," says Day.

Day says another season seven episode will revolve around Facebook, specifically the 'Sunny' gang's take on how social media sometimes makes us less social. In the episode, Charlie, Mac and Dennis find out about a hot new bar via Facebook, but while they're checking out the watering hole, a fellow patron shushes them, a move that does not sit well with them.

And for 'Sunny' fans who've been waiting for another musical episode to follow up the classic 'The Nightman Cometh,' Day says the 'Philadelphia' staff is working on an episode spoofing kiddie beauty pageants that just may include some new musical efforts.

The show's seventh season begins filming next month.

the frank flashback sounds lame, but that kiddie beauty pageant episode could be amazing.

“We have an episode next season called ‘Storm of the Century,’ in which a horrible storm hits Philly, and things escalate. We’re not entirely sure this storm doesn’t mean the apocalypse is coming,” star Glenn Howerton says. “Some of our characters are a little concerned what Mayans believed, and there’s a little 2012 action.”

Some news on a potential episode

Quote:
Star Glenn Howerton reveals that one script could bring Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, and Ryan Dunn of Jackass fame to Philly. “We’re trying to get them,” he says. “They’re all friends of ours, too. They wanna do it; it’s just a matter of working it out with their schedules.” Should they reject the offer, I humbly suggested blackmail. “I have some really bad stuff with Ryan Dunn. He’s a disgusting human being,” Howerton jokes. “That’s what we love about those guys.”

Charlie said a special guest that rhymes with the name "Osama". Wonder what that means.

Article from Paste Magazine

Quote:
The gang is just a few months away from another season of outlandish antics.

The It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia cast told Screen Junkies that the seventh season will be the darkest in the show’s history.

This time around we can expect Rob McElhenney, who plays the always overly-confident Mac, to put on 50 pounds for his character.

“It’s been disgusting to watch him go through with this adventure,”Charlie Day told Screen Junkies. “We were a little on the fence about it for his own personal health and safety but it has definitely made Mac a lot funnier.”

And the show will feature an array of random guest appearances this season.

Despite the public quarrel Kings Of Leon had with Glee creator Ryan Murphy, the guys are actually appearing on a Glee-esque episode of Always Sunny this season.

“Color me curious,” McElhenney said. ”They’re not huge fans of ‘Glee’, but they’re huge fans of ‘Sunny’.”

And in standard Charlie fashion, Day sarcastically hinted at another guest appearance.

“Pretty famous guy,” Day said.“Rhymes with ‘Osama’."

Viewers can also expect a bigger role from Charlie’s romantic obsession, the waitress, this season.

Some episode themes we can expect this season: the gang goes to the Jersey shore, Frank proposes to a prostitute Pretty Woman-style and to keep up with the ongoing craze, there will be an episode about child beauty pageants.

And as Day mentioned, “With 2012 coming up, we’re gonna be tackling the apocalypse.”

Surely, all these themes will incorporate some abhorrently selfish or subversive twist done in Sunny fashion.

The September premiere date is still TBD.

Dang, I watched half of last season. Hulu doesn't have the second half. Anyone know where I can find these?

Not that buying is any fun, but I've noticed Best Buys around me dropped all of their seasons to $14.99, which is a huge drop considering they used to sell for $34.99.
