People on the boards love to act like dave is writing a set and thinking,Ill slot monkey man right here, and then the radio says, we got Sledgehammer coming at you right now, and he says, oh shit. What a jam. Well play that instead. Hes not playing any of the songs you want to hear in the place of those covers. Ever.

But there are tons of shows without covers, so what is he replacing them with in those shows? The most played-out DMB radio hits? Fine, I'll take those 80% of the time over covers. I'd rather hear Satellite or WWYS than Sledgehammer.

At this point I am much happier hearing Sledgehammer over Satellite. And I say that as a Satellite fan. Ive just heard it at most of the shows ive gone to.

But I also love Sledgehammer.

I should really stop couch touring so Cville may have a single surprise left

All I hear with Sledge or Satellite is missed opportunity. I'd just rather be hearing actual DMB songs when that's the case.

You sure you wanna go to Cville at all? You’ve got a lot to say, but not much positive.
That being said, this show is worst case scenario for this tour it seems.

I’m going to the Miami show, and I fully expect it to look something like tonight’s set, minus Seek Up. But that’s a purely “just for fun” low expectations show since I’ll be there visiting family anyway.

Maybe I’ll get Beach Ball, given it’s the beach bash. That’d be above and beyond for me.

it was a tues night special. early Dave fake out.

having said that I enjoy 9 of these songs, so not bad. was missing a late-set deep track like typical.

Enjoying exactly half the songs in a show isnt good, IMO.
