Also, most of those songs are years old to begin with. It'll be interesting to see a fresh set of songs.

Looks like a fun show. Way better than the last one at Mohegan.

I agree, though I guess if you love AFTW you might not.

Are we thinking dave played 41 for George Bush? Would be pretty cool if true.

No, he played it because he wanted to.

I would think it may have had something to do with it.

Jesus I hope not.

One thing I couldn’t understand this summer was that they tried to bring more life to CoCo....by playing it paaaiiinfully slowly. Which of course made it worse. Dig it on the album but they have not figured it out live.

I actually went back and looked at both sets and pretty cool that only DDTW and AATW are the only songs played in both shows.

That was a super fun show to be at last night. I didn't have any complaints really.

#41 opener is always great.
That Girl Is You is a fun song to see evolving the way it is. I really enjoy the jam at the end.
WIA with a tiny (tiny) Kill the Preacher tease before they kicked it off was awesome.
The DDTW was an obvious play but going right into Seek Up was pretty amazing.
Can't Stop was weird....
You and Me and WAYG should never appear on the same set.
But the run between those two songs made up for it. Even Kill the King, I like to see where that song goes over the next few months into the summer
I like the recent versions of Space Between, no complaints on that front.
Ants was its usual epic routine, a real solid closer.
The Segue from SMTS into Watchtower was pretty interesting the way they worked it.

One crowd complaint, the dude on the floor trying to get "Can't Help Falling In Love" Going as soon as Jeff started his solo needed a beer tossed off his head.

It didn’t seem slower to me at MSG. Seemed standard CT tempo

Thanks for the heads up. I added both Antaya tapes (MG20, MG21) to the [Only registered users can see links.] .

What's the difference between the two tapes he posted? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Yeah seemed aggressive and as fast as the Post-CT versions were at MSG to me. I had to do a battery swap so I only bothered with part of it and rested my arm for a bit but idk, seems fine to me. Maybe a tiiiiny bit slower but not that ridiculous 8 minute long snoozefest it became in 2012.

Yeah, i dont think its dramatically slower, but the tempo draggs a bit towards the so hungry like it used to live. Not a serious change (yet) but they have a tendency to get a little lazy and fall into old habits.

I'm in the (major) majority here but I like the older versions better. This one above does seem slightly slowed down from the summer, which I'm all for.

Jeff joining in on backup vocals during Can't Stop using the microphone on his tenor sax is pretty entertaining to watch.
