the key is to get high enough that the gibberish at the end of YMDT sounds like prophetic poetry, time traveling back to the 1990s. You're doing it wrong otherwise.

Show is good. Show is fun. Do not make direct eye contact with show.

As you should. Always better in person than behind a computer screen.

Another nice set, ending run isn’t good but that’s an area Dave has struggled mightily with lately so nothing new there

I’ve been to 40+ shows but never heard WYA.

I think this is a great show.

Pretty sure my comment was misunderstood there. I was talking about being optimally inebriated at a show to heighten the experience, not that just being at a live show makes you immediately love it, although there's definitely some truth in that. This "couch tour" shit is unnatural and not the way to experience a show.

So the last time I saw a proper DMB show was May 2016, the Cville 25th anniversary show. That’s about 2.5 years ago. Maybe that contributed to my excitement tonight. I missed the rest of the 2016 tour and this summer’s tour. I caught D&T at SPAC in 2017, but obviously it’s not the same. Anyway, I just wanted to throw that context in there.

Last full concert I went to was Greek 2014, then that Letterman show thin in 2015. Went tonight, had way more fun than expected. Really a great time. Can’t wait for tomorrow.

Great N1. A crazy mix of huge highlights (Seek Up, 41, LIOG, LLD, KTK, Minarets, Typical), a couple random rarities (WYA and STDH), and a few get-outta-the-Way songs.
