More Dave and Tim, less DMB.

It is exactly the correct opinion. A few more choice 96 and 97 shows and I could be content in my fandom.

I've been pretty vocal about D&T shows boring me beyond belief. I feel like if you've heard one version of a song, you've heard them all.

Yup. He is. Compared to DMB, especially over the past decade, D&T is always a breath of fresh air. Could they mix up their sets more? Sure. But that's a small complaint compared with the avalanche we have when it comes to DMB.

I guess I'd rather a good DMB release over any D&T release, but any D&T release over a bad DMB release like this latest one, then.

Not to be a broken record, but we really need another release from 2000 this year. Or 1997. But mostly 2000.

Problem is, they haven't even scratched the surface of 1995 - 2000 version of DMB, particularly 1997. There is so much to choose from in 1997 that would be an incredible LT release. We already have a bunch of Dave and Tim stuff (Luther, Radio City, DMBLive releases, LT) and as you alluded to, there isn't that much that interests me from post 1999 D&T. Once you've heard Bartender and DDTW for the thousandth time, there really isn't much variation there.

D&T late Feb. 97, DMB 2000 (anytime, but Sept. would be perfect), or DMB early June 97 (6/8/97 please) are exactly what is needed to breathe some life back into this floundering series.

Oh God I hope not. Honestly I don't care as long as it's good. More releases with some diversity between them will get better results. |

![]() ![]() Hells yeah. Some choice, well-mixed, 96 and/or 97 D&T, and June '97 and September '00 DMB and I'm good. |

I personally enjoyed the brief 2017 D+T tour more than 2018 DMB.

My specific wish list is basically down to a Spring '02 Busted Stuff, the debut incomplete Shotgun, JTR and Hello Again and Kit Kat Jam from 2010, and lots and lots and lots of stuff from 2000. I also acknowledge there's great stuff missing in 1997, which isn't as important to me personally. But check off everything on that list, and I'd be 100% happy with the live releases we have.
I do want an awful lot from 2000, though. For one thing, there are like 12 Grey Streets that ought to be released. |

I’ll take all of this plus a spring 2002 and a December 1998 for good measure.

At this point, all the shows I want in their entirety, top to bottom, are in 2000. (And maybe 4.7.02, but the Bartender we got from that show on Live 25 helps with that.) |

12.3.98 needs a release. As does 12.7.98. Sept ‘00 yes. Anything ‘97 yes. Would like another ‘10 release.
D+T: anything from 2017–preferably Mann N2 or Mexico. That was a really solid tour. And also the 1/17/15 Oakland show which I still think is one of the best shows they’ve done post ‘03.
