Thereís a decent Sheraton super close to the arena that Iíve stayed at. And youíll be like three blocks from St. Catherine St which is whatís most important.

Otherwise weíd always stay at the Econo Lodge when weíd go up in college (which was often), which is as awful - but cheap! - as it sounds.

TGIY is making me not even want to buy tickets at all. You know you guys are getting that two nights in a row at CVille too.

TGIY from the Gorge was pretty awesome. And I’m not even a fan of the song.

I wish they'd bring openers back. It's not like the band comes out at 7 now, anyway.

i am indeed from the montreal area, however i don't generally sleep in hotels. because i live here...

if you want something close to the venue, the mariott here is probably your best shot. [Only registered users can see links.]
old montreal is within walking distance to the venue if you want something a bit more scenic. scan this area for deals [Only registered users can see links.]

Yeah especially with the price of admission. Get rid of the giant video screen and use the cash and resources to have an opener. Was really glad to see Moon Taxi opening at the Gorge. A really solid, not very widely known band thatís pretty heavily promoted on the Jam On xm channel.

The younger set going to the shows seemed more excited about Moon Taxi thendb.

Basically what Preservation added to that song couldíve been applied to any song. I donít think it was unique at all to TGIY.

TGIY sucks; DMB sucks; Krypton sucks.

Am the only person how finds that performance overrated? It's great to watch but to me it's a LOT of noise. Don't get me wrong, I love jazz in all forms as much as the next guy, but it didn't do that much for me. Unfortunate for me I guess.

I'm looking to hit up the 2 MSG shows and then probably Philly. Not doing a WH request for that one though.

I'd love to get some HalloBillies back this run, one of the best segues they've done and Billies was on fire this year.

Not at all, it wasn't very good. It was a cool idea and awesome that they did it, but I didn't find it musically entertaining. Plus, they could and should have used them on much better songs (but, that's always the gripe with DMB's guest spots).

I just hate TGIY and I hate that it's being used to open shows often. I'm going to but tickets to one of the MSG shows, but if the sets are more of the same from summer, that's it. They'd need to show me some bustouts for me to want to go to both MSG and try for Philly or Cville.

I requested tix for Philly. Hard to pass up a fall tour in December. 1st show for me since Camden N1 in 2016, I walked out of that show thinking I was done with seeing this band live.

Well in that case, . That was a really good show too, I was in the pit for that. I loved 2016 personally. This summer sucked though, no doubt about it.

That sounds pretty negative, considering the show. Seek Up, FTT, #41, BOWA, Nancies, Warehouse, Pig/Watchtower encore...This show looks pretty good to me: [Only registered users can see links.]

I think he meant because they were taking 2017 off and no one knew for sure if theyíd tour again in this same capacity
