You need to quit stirring up so much shit, punk. You're gonna get yourself hurt with all this shit flying around
![]() Anyway, didn't doby say something about the future of vinyl releases? I get that Malakas was assuming something was confirmed when I guess it wasn't blah blah blah, but regardless, that release is as close to a sure thing as it gets given the industry these days. The only physical albums that are actually selling consistently well are the limited editions/remasters/anniversary releases. It used to be confined to just real high selling albums of all time mostly, but in the past 10 years I've been seeing more and more of these releases that surprise me. There's just no fuckin way the 20th anniversary of one of their most well known/high selling albums will not be recognized with something very similar to what we got for RTT in my honest opinion |

Really... I'm not trying to kill momentus optimism for UTTAD, but I'm willing to bet the 25-yr mark is what does it. It's a bigger milestone and back-to-back anniversary vinyl just isn't this band's style as far as releases go.

If you think they notice or market anything around anniversaries, you haven't been paying attention. I think the Caravan was only thing because they weren't touring in their 20th year. But anything lower than that doesn't register at all.

They don't honor or even recognize anniversaries with anything. Occasionally now they send a tweet, but that's it.

I'm saying it'll be a few years until UTTAD, if they plan in doing an anniversary release for that one at all...

I think it'll happen eventually, maybe just a random RSD re-issue.

I do too. Maybe even this year (I have no info on this, btw). I'm only saying that they won't wait and release it as an anniversary issue, because that's not their thing.

Well, they will 100% do it, but definitely not just a random rsd release. They would never waste it on that. It'll be a big deal like this was.

Why would they miss out on that when literally every well selling act has been doing that in the past 10 years? I don't understand why RTT makes it less likely... if anything, it shows that they are starting to join the party. Look up how many 20th anniversary albums have come out in the past 5 years... it might increase your confidence in it happening I know, this is DMB ![]() |

Oh yeah, UTTAD vinyl release with some sort of "bonus material" will definitely happen. I don't think it'll happen to coincide with the exact 20 yr anniversary of it's initial release, though, b/c that's only 3 months from now. But I can see it in about a year from now.

Yeah it's weird how the anniversary stuff never coincides closely to the date
![]() Now my absolute dream for this, crash, and BTCS would be to bring Lillywhite in to do a remaster of each, and release a really high fidelity vinyl along with the standard fare. Pipe dream! Probably way too soon in their career for remasters but it's not unheard of for sure |

Well every RTT song has been played this tour now. First time since Fall '98.
So one could presume that Let You Down will definitely get played in 2016 when it's the 20th for Crash. |

It's actually funny it hasn't been played this tour with the way stefan is troll bait tweeting about it. In between his 'gotta get my 6 pack' tweets, anyway.

The whole R2T album being played this tour might be coincidental though or it could be planned. I just wouldn't make that statement about LYD yet. |
