Watching one now, but it's not from the webcast feed.

Eh, I don't think it's all that stunning. DMB be has a sub-par performance at a festival. There was a poorly conceived guest appearance(DMB's plan or not). And then a severe overreaction from people on a message board. All seems pretty by-the-book to me.

Well that did me no good, I couldn't hear Dave over the rest of the crowd singing "hooooooowl!"

After last night, its obvious that DMB just needs to go back to the smaller circuts. Why are they still trying to get new fans after Roi? Forget these dumb festivals with 19 year olds coming to see the Black Eyed Peas and other really bad bands. The whole hip hop live infusion thing is getting so old. Its just embarrasing on so many levels to be sharing the stage with such talentless people.

A friend of mine went to the festival last night, kind of for the whole thing, not specifically DMB. She hadn't seen them since they opened for the Dead in 1995. Anyway, she said she was really enjoying the Jimi Thing jam then suddenly Fergie came out and it was all kinds of wrong. She said Watchtower was really good, and the overall show wasn't bad except Dave's voice was shot. Pretty sure she probably won't go out of her way to see them again.

After all the hassle spending all day trying to fix the webcast, I managed to just extract the original avi from the flv file in about 10 minutes. I was intending to cut it up in to individual songs but at this point i'm just going to leave it as is so there's no converting and no loss of quality.

The file is an avi (1.17gb) but it's been encoded by youtube with the H264 codec (which was giving me the trouble in the first place) meaning that you'll, at least, need vlc to play it.

I'll have it up later.

I might stand by my statement that...all things considered....this is one of the worst shows in the band's history. Not the worst, but it's probably top 10.

I think I would like to go on record and say that the moment where BEP stormed the stage is one of the funniest moments on this board. Go back and read....damn good one liners

I uploaded it to filedropper twice. first time it crashed at 99%. now it's just giving me a gray flash box and no link to share.

does anyone know a service other than the two mentioned above that lets you upload more than a gb?
