Love MSG DMB trips. Easy to get there, and once you’re there, there’s plenty to do and see the whole time. A nice contrast to the chill summer vibes of the Gorge, and the 2.5 month gap in between the two runs is great. Plus, both venues get great guests and set lists.

However, who knows what Delta will do to the US by mid-November.

I love MSG and the whole experience but it's gonna depend on how this new album is, because I envision these shows will be kind of a "release party" similar to how Izod was in '12 for AFTW. I can't stomach a show of 5-7 awful new songs combined with the crap we already have that could be in rotation.

Just re-listened to Singing From The Windows for the first time since last year. Can't imagine this song being at all interesting in a live setting. I think Ocean/Butterfly is better but not by much. Both are really mellow and snoozy and the lyrics aren't quite good enough to carry them like a Some Devil or a #40 would. If these two new ones get played as a Dave solo E1 I can handle that, but man these are going to be energy killers in the middle of a set.

This is 100% my dilemma with MSG. I love MSG, they play great shows there, but if this turns into an album tour there's a good chance those shows might not be mind blowing. It's an expensive gamble.

For me, going to an MSG double-nighter is 50% about the shows and 50% going on a trip to NYC.

I so wanted to pull the trigger on the MSG shows but its about $2K all in for the trip. Just can't justify that right now, but I'm also seeing 3 shows in the next 6 days, so I guess I can't get too greedy.

My first time seeing the band at SPAC this year....heard nothing but great things so I'm excited. Just need to make sure I live through Phish in AC first though.....
