They should have included Light Lift Me Up as a bonus track.

I've heard the tape before though and this is still a good show. BEF > Bartender, Say Bye, JTR and Two Step are all great. Nice to have a good version of Funny How Time Slips Away on a release too.
My favourite TO show. This is great.

At this point I'm looking for two things from a 2001 release:

* Grey Street
* Fool To Think

...and this, for the THIRD time, has neither. Wtf.

I mean this is definitely my era, I'll give it a listen, but grr.

They even did a bonus disc last time, and gave us DDTW, Angel, Big Eyed Fish, and Bartender, despite the fact that those were all on Folsom, and didn't put a Grey Street or a Fool To Think on there.

Whoever picks these releases certainly isn't thinking about them like I would.

They gave us a bonus disc with LT31, because it was 2 discs, and was swapped from 6.22 to 6.23 at the last second and they wanted to give us highlights from 6.22 that made it the original choice in the first place.

But having Light Lift Me Up as a bonus track seems doable, if they have it in the archive. I have no idea how extensive the soundcheck archive is.

Why would they swap 6/22 for 6/23 when live trax is just a bunch of random shows? I guess there’s a method, but to me it’s like a blind man with darts.

Also, bonus disc made sense last time because it was a 3 night stand.

I suppose this time they could have made it a Toronto or Canada theme from various shows.

6.23 to me is clearly the most interesting setlist of the 3 night stand at camden too. That is such a surprising release for me.

I also have been seeing a lot of 2001 performances floating around online lately (probably due to being 20 years ago) and the band was playing flawlessly.

I would fucking LOVE that for a LT release.

My have things changed over the years. To each their own for sure, but surely 2001 can't be in your top 10 tours could it? 2001 was a year of 9 to 10 everyday tunes, luckily 3 to 4 LS tunes and really just a few classics.

Admittedly, this was my era too, with 1999 being my first show, but this tour just didn't do a thing for me. 2004 was probably my favorite tour behind 1999 and 2000 of the years I started attending shows.

My first show was ‘98 but I agree with everything else said here. IMO, ‘04 was the best behind 2000.

The nostalgia is extremely strong. For me, off the top of my head Iíd rank the 2.0 era shows:

2000
2002
2004
2003
2001
2007
1999
2006

2005

pretty sure 2001 is the beginning of 2.0. it is funny though, i'm now a big fan of 2001. they played great. butch was fantastic. great grey streets. some ED stinkers and ladies drag things at times, but i'm now onboard. 2005 is minefield though.

I know we have this discussion every so often and I'm not going to re-hash it.....so I'll change it to ranking the 'peak years of my DMB fandom,' since my list is entirely objective.

Ok, I honestly don’t remember ever having this discussion with you. I didn’t mean anything by it, was just asking as usually 2000 is the widely accepted 1.0 cut off point.
