Best Winter 98 Show

Recently, I have been listening to some Winter 98 shows in expectation of the summer tour. I was going to put a couple on my IPOD and I wanted to see what the consensus is about the best show.

Any suggestions?

Anything in the first week of December other than 12.2 and you're golden.

i have been trying to stay away from that one, because I downloaded the DVD, but I can't watch it in its current form. I really dont know how to convert it.

I am staying away because I would like to first hear this show as I am watching it.

I might have to break down and give it a listen.

You should, it's epic. But I also love 12.05.98 as well. I believe it's underrated because it was sandwiched in between the MSG and Worcester shows.

This show must be released at some point to compliment one of DMB's best two-night stands ever.

There's going to be a lot of talk of the first week of December here, and it's warranted. But I'd like to hear more about some dark horse contenders (i.e. 11/21/98)

Yeah, 12.3.98 is the general consensus for the best winter '98 show, but I would also check out 12.7.98 as Jack mentioned. It's a real shame they didn't start the LiveTrax series with 12.7-8.98, but we can't be greedy I guess...

11.21.98 and 10.31.98 (with Greg Howard)

You really can't go wrong with any of them. 12.3 is arguably the top show of that tour though.

I would even include 12.2 in there, just for that Typical and Two Step alone.

Those two tracks are great. That's about it from that show though. That Nancies is if I remember right.

Yeah, Boyd's pretty bad in the middle at the very end. But besides that, Crash and Stay, show's still a pretty good listen. And I'm always a sucker for anything that starts with a Seek Up through Rapunzel as the opener.

.....
Not sure if this will help, but when I've downloaded DVDs, I just launch the DVD software on my computer (Win DVD on the PC), then open the .IFO file. The files didn't have anything associated with them by default, so it took me a few guesses to get it working.
