Final chorus in So Damn Lucky

Forgive me if this question has already been addressed, but I couldn't find it at first look through the forums or on DMBTabs.com:

During just about any version of So Damn Lucky (live, studio, acoustic) during the final chorus where Dave goes into "Does that screaming come from me?" -- it sounds like Dave is doing something different with his guitar piece than the other chorus'. It sounds faster-paced and aggressive, but also different chords going down the neck of the guitar

Does anyone knows what exactly that piece is?
