This sounds like a question that needs to be put to the fam.

He sings low, the notes he sings in DDTW and Crash live he did as falsettos for years. He has plenty of range. But you know, European sets are bad, so everything about them right now is shit. I get it...

Well I can get you E2 - D5, from the first note in "Trouble" to the peak of the "Bartender" falsetto. Anything anyone can think of that's lower or higher than that?

Well, I have to admit I'm not particularly interested in listening to that thoroughly enough to know for sure, but if the "Hallelujah" right before the horn break live is the highest that song goes, that gets us to E5.

Stuff That Doesn't Need Its Own Thread (DMBc Version)

Can we just agree that he’s not really hitting that note? Seriously. So embarrassing.

Cool thanks for the thoughts.

I recently saw there was an official video put out for the Atlanta TGIY debute. I think thats a greT percormance given the context at the time. He hits those notes pretty well, and we got to see there was a horn section. Great opener there

That’s what makes it so funny. People are like “I kinda like TGIY” and it’s like “you know he’s not even kind of hitting any of those notes right?”

I think the song sucks but I thought he’s been relatively in tune singing it.

I like listening to the crowd blow their vocal cords early in the set so I won't have to listen to as much drunk yelling later on.

He is actually hitting the notes. His voice is scratchy and arguably unpleasant, but he's not flat.

TGIY is much better live there’s no denying that. It’s still just a song I don’t want to hear though. But it is short for the most part, so as long as it doesn’t open, it’s “bearable” but never want to hear it.

Does anyone have the full band Farm Aid performance from 1999? 9/12/99 I think. It's missing from my collection. Thanks in advance!
