I'm absolutely blown away by how good Mike Trout is. It's scary.

McClouth walk off hit for the Orioles.

Yanks up 5-3 against BOS in the 9th, so it looks like it'll still be knotted up at the top.

AL East totally has my interest, and holy fuck, where did the Brewers and Phillies come from?

The only positive of my team absolutely sucking? Bought two tickets on StubHub for the 9/30 game against the Phillies for a whopping $0.95 each.

I've been to about a dozen Cubs/Astros games in the past couple years because I can always get tix for nada.

The interim manager for the Astros (the very reason I don't know his name) is using an "inspiration" tactic to get players to give-a-damn. To any "stand out" player in a winning effort, he will be giving such player a pair of $200 headphones... no joke. As if they can't afford to buy them on a minimal salary of $400,000 (I think that's the standard minimum rate)...

Psh, that's ghetto. The Red Sox players were complaining about playing a double header before the hurricane last year and the Sox owners brought them out on their yacht and gave them ALL headphones. That's how WE roll

I guess headphones, specifically, have really become a form of compensation in MLB. Hmm.

Glad I'm a Rangers fan (not that we haven't been the laughing stock of MLB for the past 40 years, but you gotta believe Nolan Ryan chose us over the Astros for a reason)

It'd be hilarious if the Cubs sweep the Pirates again...

I have never seen a team fall so far out of contention as quickly as the Pirates are. It seems to be even worse than last year, because we had an even better record this year. I'm convinced they just have to stay away from 19 inning games in the future.

I wish they'd just sweep us and make the playoffs.

Although, an evil part inside of me wants them to finish below .500 again.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. He obviously didn't write the slur on his eye black, but how could he not of known what was written on the black? Escobar was suspended three games for the incident. One more person needs to be suspended and that person is the guy who wrote the slur on the black.

Here's a picture of the Escobar wearing the black with the slur:
