Love Fool to Think, and so long as there's a small instrumental intro to OSW, that's cool too. Also enjoy Worried Man Blues. Not an awful start.

Yeah there have been some really solid, set-redeeming tunes in this one

Again, nothing whatsoever groundbreaking or even enough to warrant a "woah," but yeah, solid.

Lot of good songs in the set, problem is they're mostly good songs people have heard a million times.

I didn't realize the almanac was way behind. But yeah, nothing new of course but this looks like it would be a fun one to be at.

Yeah, that's about right. "Same old stuff, higher ticket prices, less band members." Yawn, the goose is cooked. Nostalgia act.

It was #41 > Say Bye, almanac

Playing OOMH is really twisting the knife. No segment of the fanbase wins

Well, certainly better than last night for sure. Didn't want to hear Sister or OOMH but loved Minarets, WMB, Say Goodbye, FTT, Samurai Cop, LITHOG.

when did Dave start holding his guitar neck so high? Played that way all night. Been doing that for awhile?

N2 looks pretty good, but very underwhelming encore. Billies midset is nice. That encore though...woof.

I think the idea is it helps his carpal tunnel issues.

Also nice to see stone and rapunzel.

Better than N1, obv, but that's because the song selection couldn't go anywhere BUT up.

These sets are already setting the bar so low with any lack of originality that as soon as they play, like, ONE new/different song people are going to overreact about how "great the sets are setting to turn out."

Dave and Tim sets needed at least like a 50% overhaul. Playing Minarets and Say Goodbye over the course of two nights doesn't really change the overall lack of imagination or spontaneity.

Start playing some songs you don't usually play D+T and take some chances. Give your fans a tour to be excited about - it's been a LONG TIME since you've done that!

So glad I didn't go!

With only 2 guys it should be easier to dig deeper and take some chances. You don't need to have 7 people on the same page and remembering the parts like you do with DMB.

Agreed, and let's be honest - Tim doesn't need to practice shit. Dude can easily improvise over anything Dave throws at him. This comes down to stage left.
