Last night, i went and listened to this version of Last Stop as well. While it was one of the better versions from 2006, it doesn't hold a candle to the other incredible performances of this song. Heck, if they wanted to avoid 12.5.98 (the best one), why not choose the Dallas 2010 one. Probably the best Last Stop since 1998.

Yup.

Well everyone's pretty much said everything already. I'll just throw in that a fully mixed '94 Cry Freedom is something I'm interested in, those Fall '94 versions are pretty sweet, lots of nice work from Roi.

I don't know. I've allays enjoyed the music to dreamgirl. If the song had good lyrics it would be loved imho.

Is this now 4 released tracks from 7/30/05? That seems like a lot.

Roi's outro solos were actually pretty sweet, especially in the Fall.

What the fuck is this?

Not so much anger - there are lots of Warehouse discs I don't play much - but just confusion. Who the hell thought that set of those songs made a good CD together?

I went to the '05 Randall's Island shows fully expecting them to be released. The prior two years had "special" shows at Central Park and Golden Gate Park that were both released. This, at the time to me, would be no different.

But then Red Rocks happened.

I wonder if they had already mixed the show? So it's easy to just grab from there and throw them on discs when you need something.

12/9 in particular. But god damn is it difficult to sit through those 5 minutes or so to get to that nice groove at the end.

Would have been nice to get the new songs from the past 2 summers, but that's just my opinion. People People is cool but I'm more interested in good versions of Bob Law, Samurai, Bismarck, reworked Sugar Will, etc.

Man, I usually don't complain about these, but this has to be the worst disc ever.

That Sugar Wil with Jimmy Herring would have been... sweet.
