I've listened to full shows, actually enjoy doing that sometimes, but with the amount you plan to do, you will get bored very quickly.

what makes you want to start in 1999, arguably the beginning of the bands downfall.

Man, 4/4/02 would be such an incredibly great show under these circumstances.

I have listened to the entire 2008 tour since I downloaded every show last year. Good luck hearing all the 1999 shows. Some are much better then others as you probably know.

No, just not my thing. I listen to random tracks...I mean I listen to a lot of runs in shows but I've just never sat down and listened to one straight through.

I also haven't dl'd a show that I didn't go to in a long, long time.

I've listened to the majority of shows, but if I come to a song I don't like I'm definitely going to skip it.

And I've listened to a ridiculous amount of DMB, just not entire shows straight through. Not sure why this is such a big deal. I just skip around a lot on my iTunes. For instance, last time I listened to DMB I skipped from LT7 to 1 to 3 to Red Rocks.

there is absolutely no way you can be a big DMB fan and have not heard Live At Red Rocks all the way through. no fucking way.

Wait did you guys think I said I've never heard a full show? What I meant was I've never sat down and listened straight through a full show. HUGE difference.

Is that worth it? I love PJ, but don't have too much live stuff on my iTunes.

Feel free to chime in, dissident. I know you're well-versed in the Jam.

nah. there's a lot of old performances on there, and stuff like Black has only gotten better with age. DL the Gorge '05/'06 box set they put out. 3 full shows with more time spent on the mix than their other boots, the '05 show is sloppy and kind of a mess but the two '06 shows are unbelievable. if that wets your appetite you can dive in to the wealth of live material they have out there.
