From what I can piece together on Ants, it'll be on the weekend of the 23rd and won't be expensive (might be free?), and the announcement is coming very soon.

Hey guys. Really excited to share my updated article with Drum! Magazine! They published my replica kit back in 2014 and did an awesome update today. Thought I'd share!

Since they're pulling their crew and equipment out, wonder if they'll do a couple more stops

A friend of mine who loathes DMB reminded me of this story. We were on a trip to Canada years ago (must have been like 2004-2005ish) with another friend who is also a DMB fan. It was a pretty long drive. I asked him if we could listen to some DMB in the car and he said "You can listen to one song"

So I came prepared, I had one disc and the only thing it had on it was the #41 from 4/20/02. We were about 15 minutes in and the guy was like, "Wait a minute, is this still the same fucking song?" My other friend and I were laughing and I was like, "Hold on, it's almost over, I swear." We're like way past the 25 minute mark and he's like "How is this possible, dude, I hate you so much."

A guy at a bar i used to hang out at would always do a "play now" with Mountain Jam from the Allman's Fillmore East or he'd play Moby Dick live by Zeppelin.

I was at a bar/restaurant one night when I was in high school, and for some reason they had Bitches Brew by Miles Davis on their jukebox, so of course I played the entire first disc, which is 47 minutes over two songs. The bouncer was not amused.

Did anybody see Ticketmaster "verified fan". They're basically doing drawings now. Hopefully DMB will do it

Hard to believe this was 19 years ago today. My second show. I've never checked to see if they've done this many "combo/segue" songs together in one show.

Dave Matthews Band
August 29, 1998
Hardee's Walnut Creek Amphitheatre, Raleigh, NC

Seek Up
Heartbeat Intro
Pantala Naga Pampa
Rapunzel
Stay (Wasting Time)
The Stone
Drive In Drive Out
Lie in Our Graves
Don't Drink the Water
Crash into Me
The Last Stop
Granny
Dancing Nancies
Warehouse
So Much to Say
Anyone Seen the Bridge
Too Much

If it's anything like this Taylor Swift bullshit I hope DMB won't do it. Encouraging your fans to buy the album up to 13 times to increase your chance of getting tickets? Fuck that.

I don't even like COS but they nailed it

"Something that’s especially troubling in all of this is the fact that you can purchase Swift’s new album up to 13 times to receive further boosts to your spot in line. There is even a “progress bar” showing how your purchases are advancing your place in the virtual line. The mere suggestion that fans could (and should) purchase an album more than once is egregiously immoral and seems to be clearly directed at the younger, more illogical, more obsessed factions of her fanbase who will do anything to appease their hero—who in turn will apparently do anything to appease her corporate partners."

Interesting, same day. Several segues in there. But yeah I was talking about the ones that were combos/segues so many times, especially in those years.

Seek Up/Rapunzel, Stone/DIDO, Nancies/Warehouse, SMTS/Too Much

This would require DMB to put out a new album so we probably won't have to worry about that...

Would it though?

It's just one more small step from "buy 13 copies of the new album for better odds" to "buy 20 copies of any old album to get better odds"

Nah I was just using the opportunity to take a jab at them dragging their feet releasing another album.
