Took my then 3 year old to Mansfield last year. Lucked out that naps and stars aligned and she had a great time watching, remembers all the I-lighters before encore, and even had energy in the lot after. We were planning on cutting out early but she somehow grabbed a full nap hour before the show.

Did a show yesterday where I saw a very distressed cute dog in some “hippy’s” backpack in the pit. He was head-banging/dancing crazy and even moshing at a few points. I wanted to punch that fucking idiot in the face and release his dog. I’m sure he would’ve said something like “he loves it!” “He’s having a great time!” “He goes everywhere with me and loves it!”

I fucking hate those people. There should be a dog-ownership test. Rigorous, too. That dog wanted to kill itself or run away for absolute sure.

Holy shit, this is nearly child abuse. Don't mean to be a dick but that is absurd and really really stupid to do.

For sure it is borderline child abuse. Kids belong at home not at concerts. So much can go wrong, believe me I've seen a baby in his carrier fall and slide down the Alpine lawn. Not a place for kids in any situation.

Calm down. 9 months is young but a baby sleeping slung around mom has no complaints. ‘Kids belong at home’ -okay seems right says 1950 parenting.

Theres a hill outside my house on the way to the playground. The stroller could slide all the way down it. Should i go a different way? Is that hill child abuse?

I have two boys, 9 and 6, but would never consider taking them to a concert till they are at least 13 years old. That being said, anyone who doesn't have kids and is being critical of others needs to pump the breaks. Everyone raises kids differently, and unless they are ruining your concert experience, you should turn your head the other way.

Babies shouldn't be at concerts though.
