I have to agree that I don't think other bands here would catch shit either if they released the volume of stuff Phish has since 2003. Hard to avoid "released" stuff when you release basically everything.

That's pretty awesome. hefty price tag though. Mostly likely taking a pass on the Chicago shows this weekend. I've had enough of Northerly Island. Hopefully Alpine next year, haven't seen Phish there, gonna save the dough for that.

Eh. There's plenty to choose from concerts that haven't been released. You're talking about more than half by both songs and length. There is so much more unreleased material because they don't release that many archive shows and a huge depth to the archive shows. Just because it's free doesn't mean its redundancy should be ignored. Still glad to have the stuff on there I don't, but it's entirely the least excited I've been to listen to one of these since they stopped doing tour highlights that had already come out.

They would have had to bail on the whole MSG theme though too.

I'm not claiming this is an amazing Live Bait or anything like that. I'm just saying, when you consider how many of these they have done, the amount of material they have released on them (for free), and all the material that is available (every show from every tour for 14 years) in addition to the Live Bait volumes, I can give them a pass on the repeats this time around.

I think Shapiro does a good job in some ways and a terrible job in others, but that's a bigger discussion.

My initial reaction was a little bland from seeing this track list being that it's the first to include this many previously released selections, but people make good points; hard to avoid at this point especially when you consider this is not exactly a proper tour. It's still over an hour of unreleased music.

Silver lining is now Live Bait 12 is available in FLAC

I'm not one for overselling. You have to hear this Prince Caspian.

Had no idea Phish was in Pittsburgh tonight. I'm in town and took the hotel shuttle to the Church Brew Works for dinner/drinks and the driver said he'd been going back and forth to the venue all night. Had I known, I may have tried to get tickets last minute. Never seen em

Seems like they are really bringing it this tour. I've been off of Phish for a while, might have to check some of this stuff out though...

Probably for the best. Would have been a tough call to your wife and kid to tell them daddy felt he owed it to himself to see this through and wouldn't be home 'til after the duzen. "Sorry babe, ter is lyfe now."
