It's only a matter of time before we get another Summer '00 show released. Would not be surprised if that's next on the list. If you don't count 06.30.00 (which wasn't an "official" DMB release) then we haven't had a '00 show released since 2009. We're due and they've got to know we're dying for Sept '00. It's coming. 9/4/00 would be real nice with the Fleckones and Emmylou. That'd be my pick. Really though, so many good flecktone guest spots that month you can't go wrong with really any of em.

And Dave talking to the others about doing Bartender the way they did it in sound check, with the ladies.

I heard this check from outside of the venue. We should all be thankful that they never conceded to try it like that on stage. It was slowed down, and horrible with so much cheese (think Dave singing "I'm on bended knee" but all solemn and drawn out, with no power to the line, followed by a boisterous blast of three ladies belting out "BENDED KNEE!"...it was bad enough that, 17 years later, I can still remember it)

Hilariously enough...Dave was the one who wanted to play it that way, with the ladies. It seems that someone else said no to the idea.

Just checked out the 9/6/08 IEM, and it was fantastic. Does any other IEMs exists from the 2008 tour?

Also, does anybody have any 1999 IEMs?

Aside from the 2001 Pig IEM, I really never listen to these. Last thing I want when I'm working/studying is to hear voices talking instead of music.. plus the quality is usually pretty annoying. This show is an exception. I can't remember whose IEM they recorded it from, but it's pretty damn balanced considering what it is.
