I used to when the site was still up. It's just Facebook now, right?

I do post over at Tobeyoung.org. They don't seem as into the live stuff unfortunately. I'm always looking for new SBD's to grab.

My bad, I meant TBY.org. I'm over there as well.

I couldn't be happier with that

So he just finished up 65 songs at Electric Lady Studios

A fall solo tour would be incredible. But we're in for a good year I think.

I really hope so, but with him you never know what you're getting so fingers crossed.

That tour is also coming to Camden as part of XPN's annual festival. They do concerts in a park next door during the day, then ticketed headliners at night in the ampitheatre. Got pit tickets for Kurt/Ryan on Friday night and for Gary Clark Jr./Alabama Shakes Saturday.

I think thats going to be the highlight of my summer, and that includes getting marrried in September.

That's a good looking festival, Mario. Check out the FJM solo set too. That's another guy I hope does a solo tour soon.

And congrats on the marriage. That's at least two TDCers getting hitched this year. Maybe i'll get around to it in the next decade

That festival is so in my wheelhouse that I think David Dye is bugging my phone. Ryan, Kurt, Gary, and the Shakes are probably all top 6 in my music rotation (and wilco, who's also coming to Philly in June for the first time in like five years, it's amazing for me!)

Will try to see FJM, but don't know what day he's playing yet. I really want to see Preservation Hall Jazz Band, also not sure what day they're playing. And the other band I want to see is The Districts, their site announced they're playing Friday, which is fucking badass. There's no daytime gigs friday normally, so I think that means they're playing the sidestage in Camden during a set change.

I actually got engaged valentine's day 2015, so it's old hat now. Thanks for the wishes. We've been together since 2007, so no pressure

First show of the year tonight in Austin. Very curious about the set. Hopefully they mix it up a bit.

Also, adding a date in Telluride in June is perfect. I wish it was the same night as the Flecktones, but it will be a great warm up to Red Rocks in August.

Am I the only one who, every time I see this thread topped, just assumes he released new music?

my bad I update a lot of smaller things.

New music is very close though. Definitely this year, hopefully late spring/early summer.

Was the continuous release of 7"es just a 2015 thing? Seems like it's been awhile.

I think it's taken a back seat because we're due for a (double?) album very soon. Plus the re-release of Heartbreaker should be out later this year.

Same old stuff last night. I get it's a festival, and there's a lot of good songs here, but this new band just doesn't mix it up at all. Hopefully they get a little more interesting as the year goes on.

Setlist, videos, pictures. My Winding Wheel sounds great.

"And then there was the regular and occasionally random repartee, which started early in the night when fans were asked to disable the flashes on their cameras and cell phones due to “a medical condition of one of the performers.” Before “Dirty Rain” he quieted the crowd by chiding “I’m just waiting for you…to exchange email addresses. Make sure you say whether you’re in the marketing department or A&R. I work for f---head records…” And prior to a pristine solo version of “Winding Wheel” he told the VIP area to “shut the f--- up. At least 40 percent of the people want to hear the song. You can talk the rest of the set -- do we have a f---ing deal?” Afterwards, however, he congratulated them for obeying; “You did a good job; I’m so proud of you guys from Megaforce USA; 80 Jager shots in and you’re still standing!”

No need to apologize. It was just a commentary on the expectations Ryan has set, that I assume 85% of all Ryan news is him releasing new material.

I'm a fan and yet I still wag my tail when I see it topped in hopes that I missed something.

Yep, he mentioned during the "1989" promos that a double album was on deck, but we all know how that works in his world.

As far as The Shining, they're just plain average. We were spoiled with The Cardinals, those guys played out of their minds.
