Yea, they were definitely in 720p before, I don't think this means the new HD option is 1080p. Kind of lame.

No they never streamed them in HD. All webcasts have been either 854x480 or 848x480. It's never been 720p.

I think people thought because the cameras were HD that the stream was HD, but it never was.

Many of my favorite jams I've heard from 3.0 shows come out of "Light". The one from NYE is another good one (8.19.12 is my favorite one so far)

Dick's Light from 2012 is by far my favorite Light and up there with my favorite overall jams from 3.0

That Dicks Light is great too, no doubt. I love the final few minutes. I just think it meanders a bit too much before getting there, whereas the 8.19.12 is shorter but better overall, IMO, with a great segue into a rocking Sneaking Sally. That whole sequence is just fantastic. But yeah, Dicks is great, too. If you have any other favorite jams I may not be familiar with, please fire away.

If you haven't listened to Twist from 11.1 this year, that was my favorite jam of the year.

Do not get the overwhelming, unbridled praise for the Tahoe Tweezer. Was there, it was fun, I was glad they were stretching out, but the wooing all goddamn tour drove me insane and I just don't think it's musically as interesting as everyone makes it out to be.

I like how it moves through several different "themes", or whatever you want to call it. Reminds me of great Dark Stars in that way.

I think stop-start jamming is pretty cool, but yeah I can do without woo's but whatever. Pretty cool that you were out there for that. Anything else from that show noteworthy?

I totally get why people dig it, but with it often comes the attitude that you're a fool for not thinking it's the single best jam since their return. I think that's what irks me most.

Tahoe was a lot of fun but I felt 7/26 at the Gorge and the show immediately following, 8/2 at Bill Graham were both much better.

I picked up both Gorge shows a little while back, seemed like they'd be a great taste of this summer. Both are great, love the 7/27 2nd set and 7/26's first set is one of my favorite first sets I've heard.

I don't know if it is the best, but it is still pretty damn good.
