6/20/95 Blossom also being released. Popped up on LivePhish.com and was taken down which happens often pre-announcement. Should be announced soon.

Did anyone get it before it was taken down?

I think there were some who added it to their carts but I don't think the actual download was working yet

I really doubt it. Unless they promote or hire a guy that has a mindset like Kevin Shapiro regarding the band and their live releases it will just never happen.

A good start would to be eliminate the Warehouse and put out the Warehouse discs like Phish does with Live Bait for free and downloadable on their live release site.

Then do ticketing like Phish does with PTBM. It's basically the same thing but at least with Phish you are not getting ripped off for 35 bucks a year to get declined for tickets or seats that you could have gotten elsewhere. Which in some instances you could actually have gotten better seats buying them from somewhere else.

They don't necessarily need to hire someone like that, they just need to have a more open line of communication with the right people. People have had suggestions and they have been used in some cases, but all of those suggestions that I know of have come from contacting them, and not any sort of dialogue. In my opinion, if they were set on releasing a 2006 show, they could have reached out to ants or the almanac or any other knowledgeable group for candidates.

They don't even need to contact them. All they need to do is just go to the shows page on almanac for whatever tour, click rarity and then pick one of the top 10. I think pretty much everyone would be ok with that selection process.

Although for some years they could play pin the tail on the donkey and pick one that people would be happy with.

Those shows aren't bad choices. The Summer '95 set doesn't do much for me. The Ventura '97 Bowie > Cities > Bowie is good. How is the Ventura '98 show?

Give me 8/10/97 after all this, I need a SBD of that glorious Cities jam.

Ventura 98 is very good. That Gin is Riverport's cousin.

Bowie>Cities>Bowie is amazing but 7/31/98 Cities is probably my favorite standalone performance.

I'll have to give that 7/31/98 Cities a listen and see how it compares. That 8/10/97 version is money though.

Does anybody have the Past Summer 2010 mp3s? It was a collection that had the 6/26/95 Disease > Free and 8/3/98 Halley's in SBD among other things. I'm sure I had them at some point but they're long gone now.

Ha, thanks, I actually already dug up an mp3 using this sheet:

Definitely a great jam... still like 8/10/97 better though, no offense.

You know what else Phish kills DMB in. Webcasts.

There were at least 15 last year including one of the SPAC shows being on Sirius and the Bonnaroo webcast

Holy shit.

I respect Phish. But I'm not some huge fan or anything. Love that they covered Waits' Cold Water a while back.

6/20/95 Released: [Only registered users can see links.]

Entire second set of 6/22/95 (Fleezer) included as filler.

I hate to bitch about something they give extra, but as they gave the entire second set, I'm going to. 6.22 is one of the first shows I ever listened to and I love it, including set 1. At no point would they release set 1 and the encore down the road.

Probably just should've released 6/22.
