Bartender was the highlight for me. Say Goodbye was really awesome to get but it was just an ok performance. The crowd was weird too. Some pockets/sections with some amped up fans then others were just standing there with no excitement. Crowd loudly sang the first line in Space Between but then when the song ended there was almost no reaction. It was a little bizarre. I'm not a huge BBN fan but it was nice to get something different for sure. Bayou and WAYG back-to-back was such a dick punch.

This show had no flow at all. 3 or 4 bright spots within the entire set. It's not the worst thing I've seen. The band is still playing really well and I'm loving the sound right now. Aside from a few forced energetic moments from Rashawn like Grey St or his right out of the gate squealing on Warehouse, aside from those moments I'm enjoying the cohesiveness of everything right now. And Fenton, thankfully, is easing up on the seizure-inducing animations. I actually think my favorite parts of the last two shows I've seen were the first 4/5 songs with just the black curtain back-drop. It let's the band/music speak for itself and set the tone and reminds me of the old days.

2018 Fall: Show 7 - 12-7-18 Set Picks/Discussion (TD Garden | Boston, MA)

Samurai Cop from this show is not good, at best.

Edit: I meant this for the Albany thread.

Dave Matthews Band featuring the very dishonest and biased bass player, Slimeball Stefan, now have very small crowd sizes and inflated "fake" album sales. Their Come Tomorrow #1 album is a HOAX! A once great (now failing) band. Very Sad!

Lisping Lessard with spit coming out of …. somewhere... is a very overrated and corrupt musician. Claims to care about Fans but plays You & Me happily every night. When I criticize, he runs and hides to his cronies sadly, even supported the Ladies guest spots when I said they were a disaster!

Nice review. Sorry that it sucked. The crowd despite what songs they like or what kind of fans they are...I think it totally dictated by flow. If the show has no flow, people arenít going to be into it whether they like the songs or not. No one wants to say ďfuck yeah, Warehouse!Ē And then they play Canít Stop, You And Me and OSW back to back.

But the spacing and flow is totally random. Itís pretty impossible to predict that when writing it out. Even if it would sound good in your head, doesnt always translate.

show was decent. the songs I like, I enjoyed and the songs I didn't like/know were OK and the band seemed to like playing them. crowd - from my POV - was loud and into it. guy in the orange shirt in the pit reminded me of one of those inflatable dancer things at used car lots.

not the best show I've seen by a long shot but what can you do? overall, was good to be back at a show again.

Funny The Way It Is
Grey Street
Bartender
Granny
Sledgehammer
Warehouse
Belly Belly Nice
The Space Between
PNP > Rapunzel
Christmas Song
Watchtower

Buddy came out to sit at his keys while they played Christmas Song and stood and applauded after it was done. I guess he just wanted to watch since he didn't play.

Which tape of Boston sounds the best. The 20 or the 21?
