The TM got me good lol

As a side note, I know this isn't the most popular opinion but I would like a clean, sober Boyd back. He just is signature DMB and separated them from other bands when performing well.

I know the 'Me Too' stuff with the sock, but as far as 'Me Too's go, that case isn't worth destroying a living over. I think it was a combination of Boyd being high on something and a money grab by the guy who sued him.

If he gets clean (and I hope he does regardless) I wouldn't mind having him back.

You see the most recent video of him? Boyd might not even survive this year. He needs serious help now.

If Dave just magically started writing amazing setlists with a clear understanding of the band's best material I think a lot of the issues people have with the band's playing would be downplayed. My biggest hurdle that has kept me from seeing shows is knowing there's a good chance at least half of any given show will be material I would never choose to hear in concert given the option.

They should take You & Me, Jimi (+covers), Sledgehammer, Everyday, TGIY and go play Vegas.

We haven’t had a good tour since 2013. Granted, we’ve had some moments, but they really need to hit 2020 outta the park. I have a strong feeling they won’t

Take more chances. Change up the way songs are performed. Stop trying to sound so polished.

Missing: better songs.

I really, REALLY wish rashawn would move on. That would change everything.

I also want buddy to be less of a new toy for Dave. Why do the keys have to be a featured/lead instrument? Jeff and Tim are the only lead players necessary, with the exception of the piano solo songs like grace/seek up.

I’m not a huge fan of Tim cranking it to 100, but Rashawn is a much bigger problem. I’m just so sick of trumpet in dmb and especially his style. He just tries to be impressive by going for the super loud and fast aggressive notes but it’s not very appealing to me. Also, I can’t stand canned horns.

I would be so much better Jeff was by himself. Solo sections like the Seek up intro, Rapunzel and Grey Street etc would improve 100%. Then instead of canned horns maybe Jeff could add some fills to the music like Roi used to do.
