And honestly, something will have to give. This country will stand for this for a month. 18 months? No fucking way. We better be making every ventilator we can, because by May you’re going to have the military deployed on our soil in order to keep people in their homes. Obviously we’ll know a lot more by May, but mitigation may have to be enough if we’re not prepared to take some drastic measures against our citizens.

I’ve seen a lot of my conservative/libertarian friends say we need martial law NOW. If you are willing to give up your rights for this, you’re a fool. I guess I’ve also caved on my beliefs by voting for Trump. I’m disgusted to see him buying his re-election with helicopter money. I’m disgusted to see all the usual suspects getting bailed out AGAIN. This is a moment when we need leadership desperately. I do believe Trump understands what’s really going on economically and if he talked honestly about it, it’d just fall on deaf ears. Country is way too dumbed down.

The Dems still have a chance with Sanders. But they won't go for him. He's too ''radical'', even though many of his proposals are simple logic. Stop the wealthy business interests et al from raping the country. Put the governments focus back on the people. FDRish.

Now before you disagree, remember that he'll have to cooperate with many other people from both parties. I think it's been proven that he's an honest politician, a rarity. You can't say that about Biden.

Why did it have to be toilet paper? As my Dad said, diarrhea isn't even one of the symptoms. But I suppose people are afraid they'll be trapped inside for a long time or something...
