Well, it's obvious that the Gorge will be the best shows of the year with those openers.

No Texas, Philly or Bristow is interesting. Ticket prices for the Durant, OK shows at the casino....VERY interesting. Also, 7:30pm is now the listed start time.
If I'm to make a show this summer, it'll be Merriweather. |

Coming right after a month long break with only a one show warm up is a little disconcerting.

This is very weird. Bristow always sucks, but still. Greystkitkat is going to have a coronary that they are skipping Philly.

if I end up going it'll be night 2 at Deer Creek. No way I can make it to Cincinnati in the middle of the week.

I wonder if they are playing Hard Rock in AC instead of Philly since they seem to be more interested in the cash grab Ca$ino shows with mohegan and Oklahoma.

Big concentration in the NE this year.
2 CT 2 NH 1 MA Gorge immediately looks like a great weekend, but as jack mentions the month off is a bit concerning. Also, great job by the almanac having the dates up already. |

Honestly, they are just catering to their (aging) fan base. The casino shows are so easy. Stay right there, lots of stuff to do during the day. You don't have to drive anywhere. Every amenity you can think of on site.

That was my exact thought. Seems to be time on 7/5-7/6 right before Holmdel.

Yea honestly I'm much more likely to go to a Mohegan show with my current lack of strong interest in the band than I would be to go to the shed in Hartford. Obviously wish it was a weekend, but having everything in one spot with other options to do around the show is a big plus.

So 3 days off in Oklahoma before Arkansas. Mississippi being the tour closer the next day.
Already got confirmed for backstage, but chance of saying hi to Carter this year? Still 0% probably lol Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk |

Im honestly not sure what the play is with the Mohegan shows. Them being the tour opener is an interesting twist. The last tour opener i went to in 07 was decidedly bad.
Im going to vegas, so mohegan kinda seems unnecessary. Perhaps the play is N2 for Mohegan? |

Definitely. I will say even though most tour openers are tame, the last time a tour opened up in Connecticut there were serious fireworks.

They are starting late this year. Maybe recording in the months before?

Im guessing a sizable Arean Fall tour is in the works, Philly/Denver/TX/Tampa will perhaps get their shows.
