The Midwest Whistler. Ruining shows all across the midwest and occasional other venues when on vacation.

They just played Grux without the segue into SMLAM
![]() The next track was Two Step from LT7 which starts with Dave introducing Bela.

It's funny, in the morning hours (EDT), that station really branches out into the LT series, but from about noon on through the evening hours, it's the same 4 or 5 shows, and the same 3 songs from those shows...every day. Their programming is odd, at best.

I still don’t get it honestly, I have about 500GB of shows on my server that I can pick / choose / shuffle around. Then you have the pile of released stuff on Spotify / Apple Music / Smart Enabled Toaster that you can also shuffle around. Why listen to the same things daily. Then again I was never a “radio” person so the whole thing doesn’t register fully for me. |

Channel 30 through Labor Day. Will continue to air Friday night shows
Edit: In addition to playing music from the band’s extensive career, including their indelible hits, live songs, demo tracks and musical influences, the channel will continue to feature the DMB Friday Night Concert Series. Hear the band’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre show in Englewood, CO on August 24 and the Gorge Amphitheatre show in George, WA on August 31 LIVE on the channel as well as three never-before-broadcast shows from the band’s current tour on Friday nights in August. |

3 never-before-broadcasted shows? Awesome, excited to hear what those are. Hopefully Toronto since that tape probably isn’t coming anytime soon.

Oh wow, that is kick ass news! I was hoping we would get a Gorge webcast to cap off the year, similar to 2011. Hopefully this doesn't kill any chance of that.
If anyone hears of an encore for Deer Creek PLEASE let me know. The capture that is available was not properly done and was from the "normal" quality stream. Really want to get that one properly captured from the 32-bit 256kbps highest quality stream option. |

Wow, great news. I was thinking today how I was bummed out the streams were ending. That’s been a really cool thing this summer.

Would be nice to get some of the shows that weren't taped at all, even if they're not as good (Rogers, Jones Beach, Virginia Beach.... not sure about Ottawa, Charlotte, Tampa)

I'm sure it'll just continue being the Dave solo Nancies demo that was released with the UTTAD re-release
