Tim what guitar are you using in your vids? I just picked up a Martin DCPA4

The ambertone top is a Collings D2H and the natural top I play in other Dave Matthews tutorials is a Martin HD-35... and I think I played a Gibson J50 in the Loving Wings tutorial
How do you like that DCPA4?

Baller. I just upgraded to the Martin - I associate the Martins with this band and never had a guitar as good as this one. Definitely like the richer, bassier tone. It’s no HD-35 that’s for sure. But maybe one day!

I haven’t been able to play COCO properly with a capo, and I’m not fucking up my strings/neck trying to tune to raised B. Don’t know if there’s an easier way to play it.

oh nice!

also, i'm still waiting for the Again & Again arrangements you guys

thought it was funny that at the montreal show, dave said that the reason he doesn't play guitar on this song was because it was too difficult to play and sing at the same time... coming from dave matthews, that's a pretty crazy statement.

that is pretty funny. The arrangement I play fills some of the walks with simple octaves. Really not difficult to sing along. Definitely lends to Dave’s strumming style.

As a long-time lurker, I feel it necessary to burn one of my few remaining single-digit posts to thank Tim for doing this. This is good shit, man! I can memorize tabs for days, but I struggle with rhythms and timing. Sometimes, the way I hear songs, the way I play them, and the way they are (and should be) played don't come together. I used dmbtabs.com in the past and davetabs.com now, but neither gave me that last tiny jump to nail a song. These tutorial videos are great. Thank you for spending the time and effort.

Said the same thing about Dreams of Our Father, thus never been played live.
A&A is more basic so Tim can do it all himself
