Don’t know how to post tabs correctly on here but here’s the chords I use to cover it when I play it.
Edit: here’s a video me messing around with the structure. [Only registered users can see links.] 7x(9)8xx 9xx9xx 09x11xx 011x13xx Chorus 011x13xx 001113xx 7xx8xx 9xx9xx 09x11xx x24442x x4665x 4776xx 5776xx

Question for ya, what did Dave play during those '95 Jimi jams? That rhythm was always among my favourite stuff of his. I just don't know the chords and progression of what he was actually playing behind Roi.

Would be easy and I’ve heard and clamored for it since almost day one. That would add so much

I can play DYR too. Maybe I'll write a tab this weekend? I remember it was pretty easy to pick up from the first video of D+T playing it.
I was just playing with Here On Out. This is really neat. The verse is definitely just alternating playing bass notes and playing the D formation on the G and B strings (so, fret 2 on G and fret 3 on B) but the bass notes move all over the place unpredictably. Where E = E0, F# = E2, G = E3, A = A0, B = A2, C# = A4, and D = D0, the bass note pattern goes: D, D, D, D, G, G, G, C#, C#, F#, F#, B, B, A, A, E, E, F#, F#, G, A, A, C#, C#, then repeat. All the measure transitions happen on different beats than the note transitions. Cool as hell. Pretty sure the chorus is the same type of thing (bass note over D formation), and just goes Gx8, Ax8, Dx4, C#x4, Cx4, Bx8, Gx8, Ax8, then back to the verse. On the last A chord, he might be playing G2 and B2 instead of G2 and B3, and maybe he switches between them in there somewhere? And then there's the bridge, which switches to 3/4 time, but there's something about the chords that's hard for me to hear. The strings are often doing things over top that are more complex than the guitar part and are confusing me. |

I’m glad Dave is using a 12-string baritone from Veillette finally. Always wondered if that match would happen someday

Thanks. Its kinda fun trying to figure out how Dave would have wrote it. It took me awhile. I know why he doesn’t really play anything, lol. I do have it narrowed down pretty well. Finished verse and chorus. Bridge is tough to fill, almost there though.

Verse goes A4, A5, E3, E5 (the notes C#, D, G, A). Rhythmic pattern is tricky but a tab wouldn't get you that anyway.
Chorus, he holds G7 with his third finger and B8 with his pinky while the bass note moves. Index finger on A5, then middle finger on E7, then index finger on E5, then back up again. Looping pattern of three chords. The break goes like this, individual notes plucked in this order (I know this isn't tab, but it'll have to do): Bb chord: A1, D3, G5, D3 C chord: A3, D2, G5, D2 Dm chord and walkdown: A5, D3, G2, G0, D3, D2, D3, D2, D0, A3, A0 Repeat a few times; leave out the Dm part the last time. |

Code:
Do you remember tab. (D&T Farm Aid) I can’t write tab well on my phone, so if it doesn’t look correct, that’s why. Verse repeats after 4 4. I didn’t include mutes/rakes. Easy to figure out though. e B G D A 5 5 5 4 4 E 3 3 3 3 5 5 5 5 5 5 Tim Verse e B G 2 D 4 0 2 A 5 2 4 E 3 5 Chorus X5X78X 75X78X 57X78X Almost done tabbing bridge and Tim Parts.

ISO COCO and a good IOY because a good IOY doesn’t seem to exist anywhere.
