I think that's the only contender. The highlights you mentioned, plus BW debuts, great early days 3.0 songs (Cornbread, 41, SDL, Two Step)

11/13/10 would be a bigger contender, and honestly contender for best 3.0 show... If not for his voice. What a shame. Incredible set list and his voice is shot.

Holy shit! I just saw the release announcement now! I am soooo surprised to hear this news. My good friend and I attended this show and always talked about how awesome it would be if this show were to be released one day. I can't believe that I get to call him tomorrow to tell him the news. In my history of attending DMB shows, this one is definitely one of the best shows that I have ever seen.

Winter 02 was fun. My second show was 12/11. It was probably at the height of my obsession with this band. I'll never forget the cute chick in front of me with a pony tail dancing the entire concert. It was also the only one of my five shows inside an arena, so that was cool.

Great choice for the Holiday livetrax! Nice to have at least one show with Butch Taylor this year(on dvd). They need more early 2000 show releases in the future.

This was a great pick for a release. I don't think anyone can actually complain about it. and that is impressive. It may not be what I would have wanted as my #1 msg show, but this will satisfy way more people and move way more units. Then factor in them finally getting back on the train with BD is pretty cool. And even though this show wasn't filmed in HD, as Doby said, there are still more than enough reasons to want the bd.

I always felt this was more of a 'had to be there' moment. Like Two Step in teh RAiN!1!!!! And when the video came out a few months ago it didn't change my opinion. It was cool, but nothing you're going to relisten to. Still, even without that it is a pretty interesting setlist. But, we're getting a pro shot BD, so you can almost be there. And that is cool of them. So, I'll buy it.

But I would definitely take 12/17/03 over this. Even though that was not the best show of that tour, we have so much dmb released, and I'd listen to/watch that way more.

Funny how I forgot some of those songs were even played. However, Everyday was maybe my favorite part of the show.

Looking back I agree. At the time, it was as good a show as you could ask for though. Those 2010 set ending runs were so consistently terrible.

Horrible ending run but almost all performances aside from his voice being shot are really, really good.

If you get the BluRay at least just watch Sex Machine and Halloween. Those two alone will be worth it.
