Yeah.

I have always maintained that when James Brown came out and then when they went into Halloween were the 2 loudest moments I've ever experienced at a DMB show. Crowd was CRAZY into both of those.

Remember, this was the first tour they locked down soundcheck because they planned this show weeks in advance and were rehearsing for it every night of the tour in sdck.

Yes, my understanding is they set up the James Brown appearance weeks in advance and had rehearsed it in sdck a few times.

It only barely leaked out the day before. I had friends calling me after N1 telling me to get up to NYC for N2, saying they didn't know exactly what, but something was planned and it would be amazing.

I ordered this but the Store really needs to fix a lot of their errors before they roll something out. Their page still says Live Trax 37 and the checkout page doesn't specifically list which of the choices (blu ray, dvd, etc) that you actually picked AND it lists a spot for just a CD even though it looks like there's only a 2-CD option. I also am not sure if I properly ordered the 8-song bonus Trax vs. the 5-song one since all it says is "Public" disc, which leads me to believe I am getting a 5-song one despite being a Warehouse member?
Edit: I called them and the last mistake was made by me since I didn't login to my Warehouse account before ordering, but the woman at the Store said she would send a message to update all the other mistakes I pointed out.

Fuck yeah! This is awesome news. My 2nd best DMB moment was the closer and encore of that show. I remember all of the food/drink vendors running into the venue from the halls when James Brown came out. Awesome moment.

to get the WH bonus disc, you have to order it through the WH.

in regards to the other stuff, my confirmation email had BR listed for blu-ray.

I believe it may have been shot with HD cameras, the credits on the DVD and IMDb list "HD video production package" and "Camera equipment provided by" to Big Vision, there is no mention in the technical specs of what cameras were used or the original source so it's kind of a guess unless someone has a close-up shot of a camera who was there...

HD cameras were certainly in use before Y2K.
