No it doesn't. I've expected Lindor to leave for the last two years. Glad it's the Mets and not the Yankees/Dodgers/Red Sox.

I've been through all you can be as an Indians fan. This was inevitable.

All I can do is hope one of those prospects really turns out to be great and move on. We have 35 million dollar payroll with a still insane pitching rotation. They'll add a couple pieces with the newly acquired financial flexibility and hopefully we are able to at least compete. It's all I can do while our ownership remains unchanged.

Yeah they've been trying to move Lindor and Carrasco for a couple years now, and they're making all the right moves to rebuild, stock piling prospects, Yanks did the same thing 3-4 years ago essentially, only difference is they spent more money on Free Agents to stay somewhat competitive during the build.
