Yup. While I’m nervous that they’re going to oversaturate us Star Wars shows the way they did with movies a few years ago, I have yet to get word of one that I don’t really want to watch.

I posed it as a question earlier in the season, but now that it’s wrapped up, I’m just going to flat out say it: The Mandalorian is the best Star Wars property since the original trilogy.

Agreed.

It hits the perfect balance of being a stand alone series with its own incredible story lines, but still tugs at the nostalgia strings of the original. I also love all the little hidden nods to the old "B" characters they throw in from time to time. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni really outdid themselves.

I just read that The Book of Boba Fett will come out before The Mandalorian Season 3 and will be sort of a bridge between Seasons 2 & 3.

Been torn about Letterkenny since day 1. I've always really liked everything involving the hicks, and to an extent, Riley and Jonesy. But man, the skids really bring the show down, IMO. They feel like they belong on a different show, they're so cartoony and unlikeable, particularly Stuart. The show also seems too hell-bent on creating catch phrases.
Also, the show's reliance on slow-motion music montages is infuriating.
So... yeah. Still not sure what to think about it. I guess I like it, but only about half of it.

Wife just grabbed the latest season through a torrent. However, you can watch many seasons on Youtube. Seasons 10 and 12 were amazing (if you're looking for recommendations of which seasons to get into first). I just think it's much more organized and less of a seizure inducing production than say any of the US cooking shows, especially anything Gordon does. Which is another thing; if you search for Gordon's first few seasons of Kitchen Nightmares (beginning in 2004) that took place in the UK, he was so much more reserved, focusing on the actual food and establishment without having to scream every two seconds and without all the overly-produced nonsense that comes with a lot of our (American) television. Those first few years of Kitchen Nightmares (UK) are just so much more enjoyable to watch, you can find them on Youtube as well.

At any rate, we've just been having a lot of fun watching MS Professionals UK, as it's so much more about the food than fictional drama forced by producers of a lot of our cooking shows here. I would highly recommend checking out those two seasons of MS Professionals (Seasons 10 & 12), and even Kitchen Nightmares UK (2004) on Youtube.
