They add Buddy they do some rehearing, and of a sudden its a totally different product. They slow it down (in a good way) and basically just let the music breath. I still have my complaints with this lineup (mostly Rashawn), but its been such a breath of fresh air. Pig, Say Bye, Raven, Bartender, Captain, Grace, Typical, SUAD, Seek Up, Spoon, JTR, YNK all sound incredible with this line up.

I agree 100%. I hate what the "horn section" has done to the band, but overall I'm very happy with how they sound these days.

So almost two years ago I went to a Fleetwood Mac concert in NOLA. It was such a good time in a really fun city. I can’t help but think a DMB show would be awesome in New Orleans. Yeah they play jazz fest every few years, but those are short festival basic sets. The last non festival show in Nola? Dave was playing the Chet, mtv was filming a special called crashing the quarter, and the year was 1996. That’s insanity. I realize no proper outdoor venue exists, but they can play the Smoothy King Center easy. You would think a show like that would be slam dunk. Sure they aren’t the band they once were, but it would sell good enough. It makes way more sense then playing an arena show in some random place like Little Rock or Pensacola.

I’ve always shared this opinion. Should’ve kicked off the 2009 tour there.

Would love a proper non-jazz fest show here. There were rumors a few years ago that they were going to play the baseball stadium (it's in the suburbs, but basically still the city) but that never happened.

Though I was roped in with 94-95 DMB, this will always be what I gravitate to when thinking of the perfect DMB sound. Big present acoustic guitar single note licks, balanced attack by the original members, rock sentiments with jazz execution, and an interesting and somehow not-busy drummer. God DAMN
