Not an album, but an amazingly simple yet beautiful song for springtime, Wait Until Spring, can be found here. It's worth your four minutes.

Listening a ton to Plastic Beach, I was mixed on it at first, but it's really grown on me. Just downloaded the live version from Gorillaz Unofficial as well, and that's phenomenal as well.

I'm not a big fan of that song either. But I really like the album on the whole.

Not at all. I mean a lot of people dislike him and it's understandable. For instance this underground MC called Copywrite makes a valid point about how his hype being based solely on all the promotion Asher is getting from loads of cash dropped on him by Steve Rifkind. Now, this guy may come off like a chump himself but Copywrite' has been around for quite some time but a lot of his street cred comes from mc battles in the early/mid 90's throughout NYC.
He's actually not that bad. "Stop" is a pretty good song.

i respect your taste and everything, and i know you know what you're talking about. but there's nothing that's going to convince me that he's a serious hip hop contender and someone i should check out and take seriously. it's like the people i see now trying to convince me that Hanson is becoming a legitimate band. they wrote Mmmbop, there's no coming back from that in my eyes just like there's no coming back from College. they made their bed, they have to lie in it.

I'm definitely not trying to convince anyone of anything. I'm pretty sure I just stated that I can totally understand your distaste and gave an example of other people's distaste for him as well. I just personally like Asher's debut. I like the flow, the mix, etc... But I can see why people don't like him or want anything to do with him.
