Question...As a relative non-fan of Phish (I only really enjoy A Live One) would I be interested in the Colorado 88 album? I respect what they did but I struggle to get into them. How does this early material come across?

If you really only enjoy ALO, I would check out some studio stuff like Farmhouse and Billy Breathes. That stuff seems to be pretty accesible and usually helps somewhat to start picking away at the live stuff.

Hampton Comes Alive. It's great. If you don't like that...then I guess Phish isn't for you.

I would consider myself very young in my phish fandom. Never saw em. But man, I bought the LivePhish 8/13/93 from the Murat Theatre @ Indy and wow... I am nothing short of absolutley floored. Seriously

what is THE best Phish SBD out there right now that I can download?
(I already have the island tour and NYE 95 as well as all the actual LivePhish volumes). So basically, what is the best show on livephish.com that is worth getting?

4/3/98
However, I know the Island Tour stuff was available in stores, so you might have that one already. If you do, then I'd say look at 12/7/97 or 8/13/93 |

Since you have all of the 20 LP releases, and great downloads from 98 and 95, Colorado '88 might be the way to go. That is an area of the band not very well covered in the store releases (the 89 show is great, but that's it), and definitely worth checking out for an avid fan.

I actually bought the CDs for Murat, so I'd have to rip the tracks on it before I could do anything. I bet if you did a request at what someone could get it up there a hell of a lot faster than I could.

Need a new release soon. That Shapiro show was a tease, where's 11/22/97 and 9/14/99?

They should definitely get both Hampton '97 shows out soon. I want that Emotional Rescue and awesome AC/DC Bag from the first show, as well as the stuff from night two.

The Ghost is really good, but it's available for free. I don't think I'll be buying this one, outside of the Piper I don't remember it being too special. So I'll just stick to the AUD, European shows tend to have good tapes.
I would've much rather had a show from either of the 1997 Europe runs. Though I'm sure we'll get something in time. |

so apparently Trey is playing at the jammy's tonight - a small set of beatles covers with the Fab Faux. odd.
but maybe all members will reunite for a Phish song since they are getting the lifetime achievement award. kangfirmed |
