I can't believe I've been in the WH since 2003 and I'm still pretty low on the totem pole. I realize the importance of rewarding people who have stuck it out for longer, but it gets a bit old paying my WH fees year after year (coming up on 8!) to continually get mediocre seats, while my friends with 12/98 memberships get front 8 rows for nearly every show. I can't even imagine what it must be like for a 2009 member.

That's exactly why I never joined. By the time I turned into the type of serious fan that wants to go to more than one show a tour, I looked into WH membership, but it sounded like it was already far too late for it to be worth it. I've never come anywhere near the front of a venue, but many of my friends who joined WH in recent years are in the same boat. I don't see the value in it unless you're a long standing member.

On the flip side, I joined Ten Club in 2006 and have already sat second row for a Pearl Jam show. I'll renew that membership 'til I die.

I joined 3/00. Just whipped out the old WH membership CARD they used to send out....

Never got anything super great, but I always renew. To be honest I am not "done" with this whole thing like the original OP was, so I have no problem renewing...always hoping for the meet and greet or something.

Would be so grateful if someone with a 12/98 account would get me some tickets. Would love to be that close just once. Are people even allowed to do this?

i joined 2/01, yes right before everyday came out (even though I've been a fan since 95), and i got upgraded at a concert in 02 to front row. was awesome. i'm happy enough with the seat locations i get through the wh...usually in the lower pavilion area.

well, seat locations ahve taken a real dive, but if you want the bi-yearly package and not having to deal with TM then why not renew?

I renew mine with the slim to none hope that one day I'll get to meet a band member, and for not having to use TM.
