Actually, if you read my post correctly, I said I can't believe people are talking about #8, therefore rendering your post unnecessary.

Oh, I didn't mean that you were saying people were bitching. I was just saying that people were just talking...speculating...that sort of thing as opposed to bitching. Like at least people aren't bitching...take it easy man.

nope.

why does it matter - it could be the worst show ever and i'd still be pissed that it's 3 discs. everyone says this show is great, and i have no reason to think it's not. still...even if it's the most perfect thing the band has ever performed, the 3-disc thing still keeps it from perfection in my book

Don't worry, one day they will have technology where you can take a 3 disc show and make it a 2 disc show using your computer.

Gotcha, well I'm all for the Live Trax Vol. 8 talk after we get this one and have listened to it, but as of right now, I'm just ecstatic that DMB picked this one, we get it in less than a month (as opposed to pre-ordering 3 months in advance for previous ones).

But if we're gonna start talking about 8 now, i'm down for a 2004 show with Crazy-Easy and Good Good Time, I'd totally go for the 7.10.04, especially after that cock tease of Rhyme & Reason being on the Warehouse disc. I'd love to get an SBD of that Improv Jam without those douchebags singing "Hani Hani" in the background, or "Honey Honey".

Not a bad choice at all..I like 07.10.04...Although I think I'll rest my case and say that 12/3/98 should be #8.

If we are talking about Vol. 8 having Crazy-Easy and GGT, I would be thrilled with 7.31.2004. That show from start to finish was spectacular. ASTB opener, and Warehouse encore closer. There are many others that need to be released before it, but if we are wanting something for those 2 songs alone, this one needs some consideration.

See for me, I don't really like Crazy-Easy or Good Good Time for that.

The only shows that I could see for both a good Crazy-Easy & Good Good Time would be:

6.18.04
6.27.04
7.2.04
7.10.04
7.13.04

Now, are you talking about the best versions of those particular songs? Cause what I was thinking was a show that happened to have those 2 songs, maybe not their particular best versions, but a really good show that could be listened to as a whole, that happens to have decent versions of those songs we are missing SDBs of.

I'd like to see SBD's of Crazy Easy and GGT as well. I am not really sure about the performance of Crazy Easy on 07-10-04, but the GGT from that date is my favorite.

The whole WPB '04 weekend was spectacular from start to finish, but 7.31.04 is lacking Sugar Will and I'd prefer a release that encompassed all the '04 tunes. Having said that, I would have no problem with them releasing it since I was there.
