I wonder if they can release a DF show via SXM and not have to pay a zillion in royalties (hence no live trax)

lol...now I'm kind of curious what the traffic numbers are for our Saturday nights. And how many people are genuinely confused by it.

I would bet quite a few have no idea whats going on. I dont think the casual dmb fan online knows the almanac isnt directly related to DMB. They probably dont think of it as a fan site because of how clean and comprehensive it is. They probably see you guys posting a setlist in 2021 and think its actually something that a) will happen b) has somethin to do with the band c) is something they arent supposed to see and are getting inside info. Which to me, is extremely funny.

It would be even funnier if you were to see all of us on those Saturday nights.

Took a listen to this week’s show, SPAC 96 Live Trax, and enjoyed it a lot! I hadn’t listened to anything from that tour in a few years, maybe all those saying 96 was “tired” should re-listen to this one. Some good performances of standards like too much & crash (yes really, outros on both were great). Also enjoyed two step and jimi (when Dave’s guitar playing was a highlight) early in the set and a late set seek up. Plus Dave’s take on a stairway interpolation in watchtower before tim made it standard. Boyd was off on cry freedom, but hey what can you do. Just a really refreshing listen.

That is definitely a fun 96 show. Nothing spectacular that will blow you away, but all of it is pretty damn solid and the setlist is awesome.
