I started listening to Ryan Adams with "New York, New York". I moved to the city June 2001, just missing this set (not that it would have been on my radar)

The only time I saw Ryan Adams was at a music festival that doesn’t exist anymore. There was a slowed down Shakedown. A lot of insane ramblings between songs.

I've seen him 3 times. But the last time was way back in 2007.

First time he was in a bad mood and pretty much didn't say a word between songs.

Second time he started in a good mood and then started to get annoyed at people yelling out song names, but overall seemed cool. Not a lot of banter but good time.

Third time guy seemed like he was having the time of his life and cracked jokes the whole night

The first time I saw him was solo at Carnegie Hall (a few years earlier than the one released). Then with full band (not a great band) at a medium sized venue. The 3rd time I saw him, he guested (surprisingly, for the most part) at a Jesse Malin club show. Played like 3 songs together.

Very cool! Jesse Malin lives in my neighborhood and I've definitely seen a few times. I also saw Ryan Adams walking around town too. First and only time I did a triple take.

I think Jesse is great. Consistently puts out good records and his live show is fun. Saw him at a Denver bar last year and he played a really fun set for about 50 people.
