The Beer Thread

Alright, here's a thread for all of you beer enthusiasts/drinkers/alcoholics.

I moved up to Madison in January and got turned onto New Glarus which makes killer brews. Me and my buddy made a trip to their factory on Sunday and got a chance to take a tour of their facilities for free, with a sampling. Their Nut Brown Ale (Fat Squirrel) is killer and I think my favorite beer right now is their American Pale Wheat Ale (Crack'd Wheat). It's just got a killer flavor, and their Coffee Stout drinks incredibly smooth. I'm drinking their ALT right now, which is definitely different. I'm undecided on whether or not I like it or not, a little bitter with the caramel flavor.

Of course no beer can compare to I.C. Light.

Discuss away on y'alls favorite drink of choice.

I recently moved from Ohio where it was difficult to come by. A great "everyday" beer. As opposed to Bud or Miller Light.

I heard the lager is 10x better when you get it straight at the brewery, before they process it.

i will say the black and tan was much better when they made it from the premium and the porter on tap than in the bottles...you can never find bars around here that have anything more then Lager on tap such a shame.

Is the 420 brewed with "different" kinds of hops, yaknowwhatimsayin?

Next time I'm down there I'll have to check it out. The name reminds me of the 312 from the Goose Island in Chicago
