A question: Dave's vocal cuts out during his solo version of Minarets. Is this is an issue with the sbd or is that why the band played it in the second set?

One of the things about Boyd though is that when he was good, he was very good. He could lock in with the band, Roi in particular, and deliver some great stuff. Plus Lillywhite seemed to have the ability to coax some amazing studio work out of him so he sounds great on most of the early albums.

All of that probably gave him enough of a leg to stand on that he could skate on stuff for a while... but that could just be revisionist history on my part.
