LT 40 DIDO. Daves delivery is really good. Any opinions on where this one ranks in terms of top performances?

It's my favorite non 90s version.

For me, that’s the only DIKG that matters.

yeah it's probably my favorite as well

Tim doesn't get enough credit on this song IMO. Those harmonic swells fit that little riff so goddamn well

I wish this song amounted to something. It's just too good to be forgotten about.

Could have been as epic a song as Dave had ever written with the the proper treatment. All time favourite DM related stuff no doubt. Right up there next to Blue Water.

it could have easily fit with either the BTCS or LWS songs.

Hypothetical question here, but if Mac Head were in fact DIKG, we would already know about that, right?

Nah, some songs are better kept as little unpolished gems. DIKG is one small riff, a partial melody, and one line of lyrics. A LOT of work there turning it into a song. No fucking way does that work out. Diehard fans would be shitting all over it. Thereís a vibe here where people want Dave to give a tune proper treatment, but also donít believe heís had it since Sausalito. As it is now you get to imagine what you want, Dave finishes that song and that quality bevomes ruined. Its good to be left wanting sometimes.

BigVodka gets shit on, but he’s got his stance and articulates it well. His recent contributions are welcomed. Just giving props.

It definitely could have been used as a part of a song, but overall I agree with you. I love it, but it was perfectly used as it was and didnít really need to be more than it was, or even have an obvious way to make it more. I just wish it had stuck around.

If you believe that Jake heard it, then we 99% would, yes.
