I get that but most of us are still around for the nostalgia aspect at this point. Take Boyd out and we are another step removed from the old days.

In the next 20 or so hours, somebody is going to have to comment on this. Dave should. Or management. Somebody has to. There's no way they walk on stage without him, and just not acknowledge it.

Agreed I'm here with you guys out of nostalgia, but Roi is gone and the band keeps going....they even brought in a new sax player, so why not switch it up with a new violin player?

At this point we've all seen the band a lot and in the better times. Going now is to see the old songs we love and the new ones we can stand. And when I hear the old songs, I would love to have all the parts being played....

This didn't just happen tonight. He never made it to Minnesota. And this wasn't all him. It was a 2 way street type of thing.

I'm 1000% there for the nostalgia nowadays, but he has been so bad that he takes away from the overall enjoyment, so I'm not really upset, even from a nostalgia standpoint.

On tour through May, and then playing some music festivals in June. Telluride and Forecastle.

But damn that'd be cool

I also want to say I don’t think the band sat him down and put the playing and the crystal garden accusations in the same category. But when you have a conversation like that you sometimes stack things to soften the blow of the other. It’s gotta be really hard to tell someone they are out in this situation and we know they are a disfunctuonal group at communicating. But let’s face it, most guys are.

Thatís not what I was talking about. He asked if it was possible that Boyd couldnít play, but I feel like I remember people saying that his playing was ok recently.

I'm hopeful there is no replacement and it will push the other band members outside their comfort zones to fill that space. Ultimately leading to some fresh, and potentially improvisational takes on songs.

That song WAS all Boyd and ‘Roi. That said, I’d like to hear what a competent fiddle player can do with some of these tunes that have been stale garbage for years.

Would really love to know... I think it's more possible that one might think. This very well could be a last minute thing
